| “Everybody wants to be glowing and sexy on their wedding day,” says makeup artist Justin Lawrence. “Taking care of your skin will make it appear flawless. Increase the amount of water you drink, get facials, and on the day of your wedding, cleanse, tone, and moisturize according to your skin type.” On Nina, Justin selects a medium alabaster foundation, to blend into her skin tones and benefit her skin type. A fine-milled pressed powder sets the makeup and produces a velvety finish. Next, Justin covers Nina’s entire eyelid from the brow to lash line with an opaque semi-dry concealer and pressed powder. To intensify Nina’s eyes, he chooses a nude eye shadow with mauve and gray undertones. “On the brow bone, a white shadow makes the eyes pop,” says Justin. “A rich jet black pencil eyeliner and black waterproof mascara defines the look.” Mosaic Pink gives cheeks a fresh glow and, “a kissed by the cold air appearance,” says Justin. Using a nude lip liner and blending with a lip brush, he finishes with Baby Doll Pink lip color, creating a glossy, shimmery effect. For beautiful, flowing curls, Justin uses styling products and electric curlers on Nina’s hair, which, after removing the curlers, he finger combs for elegant, cascading curls. Justin Lawrence |
