“I begin by considering Cortney’s hair type, bone structure, dress, and accessories,” says Maira. “I first apply a volumizing mousse for body and then blow dry her hair with a round brush for fullness. I follow with a curling iron for a soft wave effect and pin up the hair for a natural look.

“To give Cortney a glamorous and elegant look, I prepare and prime her skin with MAC Cosmetics Pre and Prime and use foundation to even out her skin tone. I begin by applying neutral eye shadows and emphasize her eyes with false lashes, Chanel’s Inimitable waterproof black mascara, and MAC’s black Liquidlast waterproof liner. Finally, I use a soft rose color blush on her cheeks and a red lipstick to create a look of timeless beauty and sophistication.
