“On your wedding day, your skin should have a natural, radiant glow,” says Magda Nyitray of Magda Designs. “I encourage my brides to develop a good skincare regimen and drink water to help hydrate their skin. Using an appropriate cleanser and moisturizer in the morning and evening, exfoliating twice a week, and using a hydrating mask will give you radiant and glowing skin.
“For Zhanna, I begin by applying ‘Volume Mousse 12’ and ‘Design Spray 9’ by Kenra to her hair and setting it for 25 minutes. Next, I pull her hair to one side to complement her dress and jaw line, for a soft, romantic, and Grecian look.”
To enhance Zhana’s delicate and fair skin, Magda applies ‘Number 4,’ foundation from Face Atelier. This silicone-based makeup is smear-proof, smudge-proof, and water-resistant.
Magda uses charcoal colors on Zhana’s eye lids to give her a smoky eye and bring out their color. “I first blend the shadow onto her lids, use a soft gold shadow in the crease, and apply a soft white and peach shimmer to her brow bone. A waterproof black liner, single false lashes, and two coats of waterproof mascara complete the look.
“On her cheeks I use ‘Orgasm’ blush from NARS Cosmetics and create a soft lip using ‘Number 5’ by Makeup Forever, and a red liner and ‘Viva Glam 5 Gloss’ by MAC Cosmetics.”
Magda has been in the bridal industry for 15 years. She is a licensed skin care specialist and works with brides to develop a custom skin care regimen for a picture perfect wedding day look. She offers on-site skin care, massage, manicures and pedicures, and hair and makeup services. |
