Incredible Food & Service
Adam and I met through mutual friends when we were 16 years old. We were friends for years before we began dating. I am now a hair stylist and he is a custom pool contractor. After about five years of dating, Adam proposed. We were relaxing in our home and Adam had our dog, Monkey, carry the ring box over to me.
We wanted one site for every part of the day and Park Château delivered more than we could ask for or imagine. Being in the beauty industry, Park Château’s bridal suite equipped with a salon was a huge deal to me. Having a chapel on site also brought the idea of a one-stop-shop to the next level. Based on their reputation for great food and service at their other two venues, I was confident in their abilities for this new venue. Working with Joe, Barry, and Vito, the owners, Tom Casella, general manager, and Devin Hope, sales manager, was a dream come true. They handled everything for us and everything was executed flawlessly, just as was done by Rafael Figueroa and Elizabeth Marino, the maître d’s. The bridal attendants on our wedding night anticipated our every need before we could even ask for anything.
The on-site chapel made for a stunning ceremony. Our family friend Anthony Scari officiated for us and our florist decorated the chapel with lanterns and greenery that matched our ballroom décor. Our band played live music throughout the ceremony which gave it an extra special touch.
Our cocktail hour was out of this world and the room had excellent seating arrangements. We loved how Park Château brought us plates of food in the bridal suite so we could enjoy the dishes before meeting our guests downstairs. We had several passed hors d’oeuvres and chafing dishes including beef Wellington, broccoli and ricotta stuffed shells, Spanish seafood paella, and more. We had several chef food stations; our favorites were the lobster mac and cheese station with all kinds of meat and veggie toppings and the Oriental and Thai station with Chinese noodles, sautéed chicken, and pot stickers.
The ballroom has the simple elegant ambiance we were looking for, so we went with simple décor to execute our vision. Our centerpieces consisted of candles and three different tall vases filled with greenery and white flower accents. We had seen our band perform at other weddings and knew they would be great. Our only instructions to them were “make sure everyone is up and dancing,” and they delivered! We also had a live event painter who really added to the night’s entertainment.
We started dinner with a mixed green salad and for the entrée, we offered a duet of chateaubriand with cabernet sauce and shrimp Château. We also offered a vegetarian option of roasted vegetable strudel. We are still getting compliments on the amazing service from the servers and bartenders.
Thank you to our parents for all their love and support. Thank you to Joe, Barry, and Vito for their vision in creating the ideal wedding venue. Thank you to Tom, Devin, Rafael, Elizabeth, and everyone at Park Château for all their help in planning. And thank you to our friends and family for celebrating with us, filling our day with love!
