"The wedding planning began immediately. Louis and I decided on The Brownstone because of its amazing reputation, extensive and incredibly delicious menu, and gorgeous ballroom with its domed ceiling and chandeliers. We worked with Albert Manzo, the owner of The Brownstone, who helped us create an unforgettable menu and cocktail hour. Throughout the planning process we received superb service from their hospitable staff.

"The ceremony was spoken in both English and Italian. Walking down the aisle was my most memorable moment. My mom walked me the first half of the way, my dad in his wheelchair, being pushed by his younger brother from Italy, escorted me down the rest of the aisle. It was a heartfelt moment I will never forget.

"Our cocktail hour was amazing. The Brownstone created the most beautiful heart and dove ice sculptures and an ice martini dispenser. There also were stations serving seafood, pasta, Chinese dishes, and sushi, plus a carving station.
"For the reception, our guests enjoyed a tri-color salad and rigatoni fileto di pomodoro, plus a choice of either aged New York strip steak, pan-seared Chilean sea bass, or free range chicken savoy. We had everything you could have possibly imagined and more.

"Our favorite dessert was the white and dark chocolate fondue fountain with marshmallows, graham crackers, and fresh fruit.
"The most special part of the evening was my first dance with my father, to an Italian song called 'Figlia Mia,' which means, 'Daughter of Mine.' Due to his paralysis he was unable to actually dance with me, but we held hands and swayed side-by-side.

"Louis’ first dance with his mother also was special, as his family watched on with tears of joy in their eyes.
"The staff at The Brownstone was wonderful, catering to our every need. Their gracious service, patience, and personal attention made our wedding day unforgettable."
