"Matthew and I fell in love the night of the Cantor, Weiss, & Friedner office party in December. He gave a hilarious roast of his co-workers and I found his charisma endearing. Ever since that night we have been inseperable.

"The following year, in February, while vacationing in South America, he took me to a romantic restaurant in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After dinner, he took my hand and told me how much he loved me. He then proposed to me in Russian, my native language, and repeated it in English. I said yes!

"When we returned from our trip we started planning our special day. The first place we looked at was The Grand Prospect Hall. We fell in love with its luxurious décor and grandeur. The Grand Ballroom resembles a room from Versailles. Debbie Houdouris, our event planner at The Grand Prospect Hall, was especially helpful throughout the entire planning process. Planning an event for almost 300 people seemed overwhelming at times, but she made it almost easy. She helped us find the right florist and also arranged a Vegas style show for our reception.

"Our guests were impressed with our unique wedding invitations. We created beautiful red cards with an intricate gold design accented with jewels and tassels, made by my wedding invitation company, FabulousInvites.com.

"Our wedding day was absolutely spectacular. Our four-foot tall centerpieces were adorned with powdered snow, white branches, strings of crystals, lanterns, white hydrangeas, and calla lilies. Upon arrival our guests were greeted by a violinist and ladies in Renaissance costumes.

"The cocktail hour was such a hit that our guests might have been satisfied with that alone! They were treated to a sushi station, a meat carving station, and a vodka caviar display. For appetizers they enjoyed marinated mushrooms, duck salad with berry sauce, salmon tartar with seaweed, meat blini, and stuffed eggplant.
