“When consulting with a bride,” says hair stylist Natalie D’Angelo, “I take into account her personality and her dress style. This helps me design a look that complements both!”

Playfully Elegant

“To complement the loose curls of the hairstyle and the gown’s ruffles," says Brianna, "I created a soft glam look using a light pink Make Up For Ever lipstick and pearl NARS highlight on her cheekbones. I used earthy brown tones from Chanel to make a smokey eye, being careful to not use colors that would clash with her beautiful red hair.”
“I did half up half down," Natalie tells us, "to show off her thick, beautiful hair, pulling some pieces back to emphasis her face. I used a 1-inch Marcel curling iron, Kenra hairspray, and Kevin Murphy Bedroom Hair for texture.” (Gown: Oleg Cassini, CWG805, $1,258)

Brianna & Natalie’s Bridal Beauty Tips:

Get Informed … “Ask questions at your trial. If you have any concerns, your trial is the time to voice them so that your artist has time to fix any problems.”

Start Fresh … “Make sure your hair is clean with very little conditioner and blown out straight from the night before with no styling products or ironing.”

“This gown was more conservative," says Brianna, "so I emphasized Alison’s beautiful skin for a very natural look. Using the Hydra Lock Airpod Foundation from Temptu, I gave her complexion a more dewy finish with the added benefit of longevity from the airbrush. Lasting up to 24 hours, the Temptu system is my go-to for brides!”
“This dress was conservative and sweet, yet had a a lot of detail," says Natalie, "so I left Alison's hair down with a simple tiara, allowing the dress to be the focus.” (Gown: Lucia Rodriguez)

Go Bold

“The dramatic updo and beading of the gown inspired me to go bold!" says Brianna. "Using a Lancôme Le Crayon Kôhl pencil liner, I lined her waterline to add drama to her eye and to bring out her eye color. Strip lashes from Ardell as well as a dark purple lipstick from MAKE UP FOR EVER added to this look.”
“This dress is stunning and exudes elegance," says Natalie, "so I gave her a dramatic updo to showcase the dress.” (Gown: Eve of Milady, 1557)
