Brant and I began researching wedding venues immediately after we got engaged. The Harbor Club at Prime was the first venue we visited and they set the bar very high. They offered us a variety of high quality food, top-of-the-line alcohol, and a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, with no upgrade charges typical of other event spaces. We had been considering a New Year’s Eve wedding and the ballroom seemed like the perfect party space for the occasion. We had the great pleasure of working with Michael Huxtable, the director of sales, who truly went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and requests. Michael was with us every step of the way during the planning process and was always available to answer our questions, even on Christmas Eve.
Our wedding at Harbor Club began with a spectacular cocktail hour. We had passed hors d’oeuvres, a pasta bar serving pan-seared gnocchi in a parmesan-truffle sauce, a pan Asian station featuring shrimp and lobster wontons and pork steamed buns, a sushi station, and a chilled seafood bar. The display stations were beautifully presented and the food at each was neatly plated on individual dishes. This made it very convenient for our guests to quickly grab their food and gave them more time to socialize and enjoy the fully stocked bar, serving our signature cocktail, “The Eternitini.” Also featured at the cocktail hour was our beautiful Champagne Diva, who wore a giant skirt with 140 champagne glasses that she served to our guests.
