When asked what her favorite part of her job is, Liz simply says, “Seeing it all come together. I’m with a bride every step of the way, helping her coordinate her caterer and florists and also making sure she’s getting what she wants, not what her family or friends expect of her.”
Your Wedding Vision .... “Having a unique vision for your wedding day is magical, but knowing where to begin and how to execute it effectively can be overwhelming. I truly enjoy hearing brides share what they have seen while attending weddings and how they would do things differently; and wow we’ve done some fun and exciting things in the last few years!
“Whether you are envisioning a more traditional wedding or something a little out of the ordinary, Country Meadows Barn is happy to accommodate your vision for the perfect day. The property offers options for interior or exterior ceremonies and includes a vast patio that is excellent for cocktail hours.
“We’ve had brides have the most traditional weddings with gorgeous wildflowers, antique glassware, lace, and eucalyptus. The vast blank canvas of the barn gives way to so many options and the beautiful natural light helps highlight colors and nuances.
“We’ve also had couples who’ve had some fun with the venue, like incorporating all the airports they’ve flown out of together for their table themes. One couple even had a surprise helicopter entrance for the groom while the bride made the corner to walk down the aisle! It was a ton of intricate planning and time coordinating, but it was so worth it to see them look at each other with smiles and lots of laughter.”
Your Way ... “I can’t say it enough, brides become part of the family at Country Meadows Barn. The barn was originally built because the owner witnessed a bride close to him being mistreated and taken advantage of during her wedding planning. He built this venue to be a place where you can celebrate your love story, step into a beautiful future together, and do it in a comforting and welcoming way.”
Budgeting, scheduling, and details can be stressful, “but we’re happy to work with brides to stay within their budgets and find a way to trim here and add there so that they will be satisfied and not overwhelmed with the price tag. You’ll never see us pushing a bride to spend what she’s already told us they can’t budge on.”
Beyond the Planning ... “A wedding is more than just a party that needs planning. It’s an emotional time and being able to help put a bride’s mind at ease is a special part of my job. We understand the importance of the time spent getting ready before the wedding. Our private bridal suite has been a safe haven for last-minute jitters, emotional mom and daughter talks, and all-out fun with the bride’s best friends.
“There is something so calming for brides when they are at the venue well before the guests, getting comfortable in the space and transforming into the bride they’ve always dreamed of. I can see the confidence wash over their face as they walk down the stairs to their future.”
Precious Moments ... Having a moment with your new life partner is also so important during the fast-paced day. “We encourage couples to take a walk down to the pond. It’s a beautiful spot for pictures, but also a great place to have a moment to enjoy each other’s company together, away from the excitement.
“The picturesque mountains and rolling greenery on our property offer beautiful simplicity, while our staff creates a seamless day, This all makes it easy to take a deep breath, hold hands and take in the moment that starts the rest of your life together.
