“A Dream-Come-True Fairy Tale Wedding”

Eric and I met through mutual friends and before getting married had been dating for eight years. Our very first date was at Rockefeller Center in NYC where we celebrated our first Christmas together. Fast-forward to the summer six years later. One Saturday afternoon we spent the day at a Yankees baseball game. Little did I know, Eric had planned an entire night that would forever change our lives. Waiting for us at the front doorstep was my dog Boomer with a sign hanging from his neck saying, “Cristina, will you marry Eric?” Our friends and family were awaiting our arrival to celebrate in the backyard, which was beautifully decorated.

Our dream-come-true, fairy tale wedding venue was The Park Château! This was the first venue we visited and driving up to the front gates, we knew it would be the last. It was all we wanted and more. To say the staff was truly outstanding would be an understatement. From Devin, our amazing wedding coordinator, who greeted us on our very first visit and was there every step of the way, to Dawn, my bridal attendant, who was a true godsend that never left my side the entire day and night of the wedding, we truly felt like a king and queen from start to finish.

Our ceremony was as magical as I envisioned it would be! Walking through the doors of the candlelit chapel to see my husband at the altar waiting for me, surrounded by all of our close family and friends, was a moment I will forever remember.

Our cocktail hour was a beautiful spread of the most delicious food, exquisitely displayed by Park Château. We chose over a dozen hors d’oeuvres, various delicious food stations, and a martini bar with an ice luge. Some highlights were the mini lobster rolls, risotto balls, rack of lamb, and steakhouse station. The Park Château also provided a wine and cheese pairing station. Our guests were able to indulge and also enjoy our custom signature drink of the night, “The Boomer.”

Walking into the ballroom for the first time truly took my breath away. Our beautiful floral centerpieces were filled with white hydrangeas and blush roses, accented by hints of crystal. LED lighting and sparklers illuminated the room and our seating chart was a custom digital display. Not one detail was overlooked! Our DJ had us dancing the night away with one great song after another. We could not have chosen a better company to entertain our guests. Our wedding photographer captured the most breathtaking photos from the very start of our day until the end.

For dinner, we began with the Estate signature salad. Our guests then chose from entrée options of chateaubriand, chicken saltimbocca, Chilean sea bass in a soy ginger glaze, and eggplant Napoleon. Dessert, aside from our custom wedding cake, was a display of hot waffles and bananas foster flambé, an ice cream cart, and a chocolate fountain. Everything was delicious!

It was an absolute pleasure working with the staff at the Park Château and we want to thank them, as well as all our vendors, for making our wedding day unforgettable!
