“Magnificent”


Kerri: Mike and I met on a blind date. He was running late and we had to relocate, so going into it I was ready to get it over with! Yet, when we got there and both nervously ordered a Moscow mule at the same time, it was an ice breaker and we had a great time. Great enough that I agreed to another date!

Mike: When planning to propose to Kerri, I booked an Airbnb in the North Fork of Long Island. We spent a fun weekend going to a bunch of wineries, and of course, when I popped the question, she said yes!

Kerri: Walking into The Park Savoy Estate was like being transported in time to a magnificent mansion in the roaring 20’s. It is so grand and full of character, we knew instantly it was the perfect venue for us. The entrance, with a grand staircase and luxurious bar, greeted us with an exciting flare. The checkered floors, beautiful gardens, and availability of an indoor or outdoor ceremony gave us everything we wanted and more.

Mike: Throughout the planning process, Covid forced us to reschedule multiple times. The Park Savoy team was incredibly understanding and accommodating, making sure we were able to have everything we wanted in a wedding despite those reschedules. The day of the wedding, they couldn’t have been any more amazing. The staff went above and beyond, and you could tell they all loved their jobs so much.

Kerri: Our ceremony was outside in the gardens on a beautiful blue-sky day. An old friend of Mike’s officiated and kept it short, sweet, and personal. Afterward was cocktail hour, and we were thrilled with the setup and displays of food.

Mike: We had such a great variety of food available. Over a dozen passed hors d’oeuvres, live stations, and our personal favorites, a frozen margarita bar and a fajita bar! Everyone was raving about all the food, the homemade mac and cheese, the raw bar, the rack of lamb — we could go on forever!

Kerri: The ballroom was stunning. Without additional decor, it is already classy and elegant. We added romantic light pink floral arrangements and other soft touches to make it our own.

Mike: For dinner, the food was again delicious. We began with the Estate signature salad, followed by a choice of Chilean sea bass in a soy ginger glaze, chateaubriand in cabernet sauce with caramelized shallots, chicken saltimbocca, and an eggplant tower. Dessert was our wedding cake, a three-layer cake with layers of vanilla with whipped cream and chocolate with buttercream, plus chocolate-covered strawberries.

Kerri & Mike: We’d love to thank the entire Park Savoy staff, our friends and family, and all our vendors. Everyone was awesome at what they did and we were treated to incredible service. Special shoutouts to Sam, Melanie, Mary, George, and the entire Maurillo Family for giving us our perfect wedding. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate and make our wedding the most fun and exciting night of our lives!
