Justin: Our ceremony was at Bree’s local church, Sacred Heart. We had a traditional Catholic wedding and then our day with Birchwood started at cocktail hour. We loved everything and liked choosing different items for our menu. The penne alla vodka and the eggplant rollatini were personal favorites of mine. The seafood as well was a great selection, with clams, shrimp, oysters, the whole nine yards.
Bree: We chose a whimsical spring aesthetic with lots of lavender, white, and light blue. Birchwood Manor reminds me of an enchanted garden. Inside, the grand ballroom is incredibly elegant, with large, ornate chandeliers. We mentioned that we’d like to honor Justin’s father, who’d recently passed away from cancer, and we loved the touching memorial created by Michael Marino and Farrell Holleran, banquet managers. We could see it was carefully thought out, with candles, flowers, and a photograph of Justin’s father. They took their time and it meant a lot to us.
