Our best friend Anthony married us, even though we were already legally married the year before (thanks Covid), which was short and sweet.
As our guests gathered for cocktail hour, they were greeted by an elegant champagne display with Verdi champagne, strawberries, and hot apple cider. Passed hors d’oeuvres included sundried tomato quiche, short rib arancini with garlic aioli, buffalo chicken spring rolls, sesame-crusted tuna, teriyaki chicken skewers, and blackened shrimp skewers with lime crema.
The food at our cocktail hour was amazing and Hildegard always made sure Kyle and I had enough food to eat! SkyView also offered a special “Farm to Table” presentation with deluxe antipasto including prosciutto de parma, capicola, marinated artichokes, and grilled vegetables, plus a smoked salmon platter.
Our chafing dishes were also delicious, from the teriyaki beef and vegetable stir-fry with cashews, pineapple, and bamboo shoots to eggplant rollatini and fried calamari plus chili lime marinated flank steak. Everything at the cocktail hour was delicious, but the coconut shrimp was especially amazing and the slider station was awesome!!
