Isaac: If I were to write a story about the love of my life, I would title it “A divine miracle.” When we met, she captivated me with her lovely smile and her unique name, Eukeria. For our first date, I had everything planned for a romantic night in NYC, but things didn’t go as I expected. From burning myself while getting ready to missing our dinner reservation and having to walk in the cold, I was sad and frustrated. But God is amazing and I noticed Eukeria being so caring, encouraging, and helpful.
Her sweet and loving presence was such a blessing that the evening was miraculous, full of laughter, happiness, and divine connection. By night’s end, I knew I was going to marry her. The proposal, after Eukeria had graduated with her Masters, was a surprise. Bali is one of her favorite places, so I created a Bali-themed proposal at my family’s house and told Eukeria she was coming to a graduation party. She was totally amazed and I was so happy that she said yes!!
We wanted an outdoor castle wedding at a venue near Eukeria’s hometown, because the wedding’s location is an important cultural tradition. The Wyndhurst Mansion at Miraval Berkshires Resort & Spa checked all our boxes. The Mansion has a serene outdoor landscape, an elegant interior design, and a well-preserved historic structure. The location was close to Pittsfield, MA, which was perfect.
